The Writer Coming Forth

1-DSC_0483-004“Lazarus, come forth!”

–Book of John, Chapter 11

Where Adam had hidden, swathed by death’s foreshadowing, Lazarus laid literal, enshrouded within a tomb.  Death had conquered completely, but when Jesus spoke, deep called unto deep at the sound of his voice, and Lazarus awakened.  The magic is that when Jesus said come, he came.

That’s where the magic happens for us, too.

(Day 5 of the Writing Challenge: where I’m “Just Writing” daily for 31 days.)

Oh, I love that He says “Come!” Verses come to my mind…such as “Come unto me ALL you who are troubled and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.” ~ Matthew 11:28. “Let the little children come to me…”~ Mark 10:14, “Come before Him with joyful singing!” ~ Psalm 100:2. “Come.” Yes, He says it, and I want to do it! Therein lies the blessing, the power, the equipping, the filling…the living. Thanks for reminder, Harmony. ~ mama
